Benjamin Franklin Plumbing Owner Sponsors Scholarship for Local Student
December 28, 2020

One of the things we pride ourselves on at Benjamin Franklin Plumbing is that our franchise locations are true community businesses with investment in the communities they serve. Around the holidays, this becomes particularly apparent as we see countless charitable activities at our locations across the country.
Tony Zack, owner of Benjamin Franklin Plumbing of Myrtle Beach, found a way to give back to his community by not only supporting the next generation but also rewarding young people who also contribute to their communities. Through local television station WPDE’s Friday Night Rivals program, Zack funds a $5000 scholarship for a local student athlete, based on their community service participation, as well as their athletic and academic achievements.
This year’s winner was Emmy Rollins, a senior volleyball player at West Florence High School in Florence, SC. She will be attending the University of South Carolina in the fall. To read more about Emmy and the contest, see the story on the WPDE website.
